Do passengers have insurance and what coverage do they have?

Yes, the participants of our tours are insured against accidents. The insurance called “Passenger Seat” has national coverage. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is recommended that our clients take out their own general travel insurance against other types of accidents, illnesses, loss of property, etc.

How many vineyards did I visit in a day?

Ideally we suggest visit between 1 to 2 Vineyards per day, so that your experience can meet your expectations.

How many wines are enjoyed in the Wine Tour?

On average, we taste between 2 and 4 wines in each winery.

What type of wine is tasted during the tourist route?

We make wine tasting reserve and grand reserve (If you have any special requirements please let us know)

Is there a lot of driving time during the routes?

Going to the Maipo Valley or the Casablanca Valley takes around 40-50 minutes.
Going to the Cachapoal Valley and the Colchagua Valley takes about 2.5 hours.
Going to Viña del Mar, Valparaíso takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes
Going to the Cordillera Central (Snowy Valley) takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes

What is the best time of the year to make a wine tourism route?

At any time you want. We offer tours throughout the year. The best time to do our excursions is between October and May, which is the grape growth period. The weather in Santiago is mild in autumn and spring and hot in summer. Autumn (16 ° – 26 ° C). Spring (16 ° – 26 ° C). Summer (18 ° – 31 ° C). Winter (3 ° – 15 ° C). Harvest time continues between March and May.

What happens if the weather is not good?

Our tours take place regardless of weather conditions except for Mountain products. In wine tourism products when the weather is sunny and warm, we will try to spend time outdoors to enjoy the surroundings and, in winter, when it is cold, we will spend more time in the indoor cellar.

What are our cancellation policies?

Complying with the policies, Servitour Chile will only refund money under the following modalities:
48 hours before the Pick Up confirmed in Voucher service, 100% refund
24 hours before the Pick Up confirmed in Voucher service, 50% refund
12 hours before Pick Up confirmed in service Voucher, 30% refund
With no less than 12 hours no refund will be made.
To make the money back effective, the client must notify, within the indicated period, by an email addressed to Finanzas@servitour.cl
CHARGES FOR “NO SHOW”
In case of not showing up for the booked tour, Servitour will NOT refund money.

Do you have a tour for people with reduced mobility?

Passengers with reduced mobility can enjoy all our experiences without problems. To ensure a good experience regarding this requirement, we ask you to indicate this condition at the time of booking. Having this information, we will adapt our tours to the needs of customers with reduced mobility.

Can I choose the schedule of my tour?

We adapt to the requirements of our customers. If you require any special pick-up time, enter your requirement in the Special Requirements field when managing your reservation. We will contact you shortly to confirm your requirement.

Are there discounts for children and seniors?

Children under 6 do not pay (inform us, at the time of booking, in Special Requirements). Children between 7 and 18 years pay special rate (indicated at the time of booking). Over 18 years pay normal tour rate. Seniors pay normal tour rate.

Are they responsible for lost items?

Like any capital in the world, we recommend that our clients take certain safeguards with their personal and valuables, mainly that they keep their objects with them and secure. We are not responsible for lost items, however our guides will always give you the necessary information to avoid situations of theft and loss.

How long in advance should I book my tour?

The minimum anticipation is 24 hours before the departure time of the required tour.

Can I pay the same day of the tour?

Yes, we have integrated the payment option for customers who wish to pay the same day. In case of payment on the same day, this must be in cash, pesos or dollars. In case of booking more than one tour, the first day of the tour must be canceled all the services reserved.

In case of having food restrictions, how do I communicate?

Upon receipt of your reservation confirmation voucher you may notice an attached document. To let us know your special requirements you can do it by completing this form and sending it back. Another option is to let us know your special requirements by entering them in the Special Requirements field indicated in the reservation process.
